Once again our line is down. I have reported this last week and was originally told it was in the home, now it is down as a fault to be fixed but nothing has happened! Any help please!

Hi

The fault is still open with openreach, they are requesting we make an appointment for them to call at the property.

I'll send you a pm with some details to confirm.

Thanks Karl

It would appear an engineer has been, apparently we have a good broadband signal. But we have no dial tone, no broadband and for people ringing in it just keeps ringing for them.

This is ridiculous, if you look at the number of faults we have reported on this line it shows it needs replacing. We are without an adequate phone line more than we are with one.

Can an engineer actually figure out what the problem is and get it fixed as we are now nearly a week without a phone line.

Thanks

Hi Lylac

I've logged this out to BT Openreach for a Non Appointed engineer - Non appointed means the engineer will be dispatched to look at the line without requiring an appointment be made with you to visit your property.

Thanks

Karl.

HI @Lylac

I have asked one of TalkTalk's support to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. Please try to avoid posting on here until TalkTalk has responded to you, otherwise, this will just put you further down the queue.
